Ja Mixdowns is a pioneer in the Vancouver hip hop scene getting his start in the industry with the hip hop group, The Titans, and has been involved in the music industry since 2005 in one capacity or another. He now uses his network he’s built over the last 20 years to focus his attention on serving artists & musicians in every way possible. Ja has now made a new name for himself by recording, producing, mixing & mastering for artists from all around the world for the last 12 years by transforming his previous home into a full service recording studio before embarking on this new journey of Idio Sound Lab. 

With his deep well of experience and passion to teach others he has also become a music production educator in all areas of education including hands-on teaching in secondary schools, writing books, online courses and online tutorials through his company Intession Music Tech. And with the new addition of Idio Sound Lab to his life, he has naturally become an advocate for entrepreneurialism for musicians and youth in his community. His commitments and focus have now completely shifted to helping artists & musicians achieve their goals whatever they may be by continually building a strong network of talented professional music service providers and to provide a space for them to learn, grow and create powerful music.
